Which is what used vehicle sales poeple in this country do to make money. ==== No significant or mechanically competent male in family or group = compulsory independant check. ======== Do you understand how write back's, and the mysteries of minimum trade in work?? ++++++ Trade ins are allways as is, unless some conditions are added which is unusuall. If the trade assesor/salseman starts wineing about warrants you know your'e dealing with sharks. Because: they have to put a new warrant on it to sell it (= normall cost of every deal) unless they dump it through the locall auction. +++++++++ Reaserch: retail and private selling price of tidy monsters like your's in your area ( prices vary area to area). __________ You may be better adding the purchase cost of replacement vehicle to your mortgage, and then paying the private sale price of both of your monsters back into your Mortgage than dealing with (Normaly V F expensive ) Vehicle Vendor Finance. Then you only take the trade in price if it is good, as you become a CASH BUYER and so can bully the "Cash Price" down considerably. |

| 841828 | 2010-01-08 11:39:00 | Wof must be less than 30 days old at point of sale, would advise a good checkover by a trusted mechanic or AA, www.aa.co.nz You should ask about warranties as they are not required to be offered as they used to be, but you do have cover under the Consumer Guarantees Act (must be of merchantable quality etc), they may offer Extended Warranty at extra cost, you also may have the remainder of the vehicles manufacturers warranty if it's young enough. | 841830 | 2010-01-08 20:28:00 | I was expecting the as is where is option, the demio wof and rego run out next month. he has also said after a test drive the bush's are noisy....may need fixing? ive not found a vehicle to trade on yet, i just wanted solid prices on trades so i can go to bank and say blah blah i need this much......... i was feeling quite confident about this car sales stuff till yesterday, all the car dealers in palmy were helpful and this local one had been up till muttering wof, rego and bush's which gave me warning signs....... i think i need a male to drag in with me and make him realise i not playing games...... i want to get best price for me, while getting a good vehicle i am happy with. thank you for your help, it made me realise i think this guy is a bit more of a shark than i thought....... .............got to think what male i can drag in to scare him with....:p beetle :) |

| 841832 | 2010-01-08 21:26:00 | no idea, he was driving it at the time and said, they were noisy . . . . he drove it around the block, with me, and said it was a bit noisy on the rougher tarmac, and said its the bushes . . . . . . . . . dont know any more cant help you . this is where i come unstuck . . . . . . . . . i know enough to get me this far, but not enough to keep me out of trouble and talking turkey with the car dealer . . . . beetle:) |
