| 1125204 | 2010-08-07 04:10:00 | As I have never heard of that,it is hard to answer! XP mode is the ability to emulate a windows XP systems for programs that have compatibility issues with windows 7, you can also emulate windows vista with this function, although I see how useful with would be I have not used it much. I recommend Windows 7 Home premium, its roughly $190.00 at playtech.co.nz |

| 1125205 | 2010-08-07 04:11:00 | Well its a later version of virtual PC... It lets you use programs that may not work in Windows 7. Or you can use The XP mode option to test ISO's (if you make any that is, that are bootable). Only thing you cant test anything thats x64 with it | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

| 1125207 | 2010-08-07 04:17:00 | Well if you want XP mode, you'll have to get Pro, Ultimate, or Enterprise. The other versions don't support it. | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 1125208 | 2010-08-07 04:29:00 | In that case I'd recommend Ultimate, however keeping in mind that you may have restrictions I'd in that case recommend Professional. playtech only has a 64bit Ultimate, while it has 32 and 64bit Professional. The pricing is the same for both versions so ill just link you to the 64 bit pages. Ultimate: playtech.co.nz Price: $339.00 incl P&H Professional: playtech.co.nz Price: $249.00 incl. P&H Edit: you can probably ask them for a 32bit Ultimate, they'll have one lying around, but for future proofing I'd stick with 64bit |
