| 1124845 | 2010-08-05 09:04:00 | Hey Does anyone know why I can not upload my dreamweaver site to a webhost (webs.com). I have uploaded a different dreamweaver to that same webhost before but that had no links on it. This one has links to other pages on my site and to other sites! Thanks |

Thanks That normally means your upload did not work or you upload your site to the wrong folder: Did you get any error messages from your FTP client? What FTP client are you using? Are you uploading your website to the correct folder?, sometime you have to upload your website to a folder called "public_html" or "httpdocs" etc... |

I have heard of hosts putting a htaccess file in there to temporarily shutdown a website if payment is overdue, but not sure how common that might be as I'm always paid up to date! Are the files showing when you upload them? As stu asked what FTP client? |
