1126397 2010-08-10 21:36:00 Whycome?

I have autohide in my Asus 7~Starter version netbook, but it doesn't seem to exist in the Acer 7~Home version .

Is there a workaround?

1126399 2010-08-10 22:14:00 If you are referring to the task bar

Right click on a empty space on the taskbar and click on Properties,Tick the Auto-hide the taskbar box, click OK.

1126400 2010-08-11 01:41:00 No - I want to auto-hide the Gadgets like I can with Win7 Starter.

They can be popped in or out by pushing the mouse to the far right of the screen.

I know how to auto-hide the taskbar - and it's like that only with gadgets.

1126401 2010-08-11 01:51:00 Haven't seen that option in standard Win7.
Starter probably has that option as it is on a netbook with a small screen so you wouldn't want the gadgets taking up all the space :)

1126402 2010-08-11 05:24:00 I've got it in XP too. Just 7-Home doesn't so far as I know.

They SAY you can hold the Windows Key and hit the <SPACE> bar - but no-o-o-o!

1126403 2010-08-11 06:38:00 The netbook will more than likely have a third party program allowing the auto hide for gadgets -- Been looking and windows 7 (even starter) doesn't have the auto hide option like Vista did. wainuitech (129)

Might be right there, guy . I bet it's an ASUS-thing only .

Well ----- I've not given up - I've also got Google and it has some pop-in gadgets that I can get .

So There!
