| 842358 | 2009-12-22 22:14:00 | I have to admit that it has crossed my mind to add three or four zeros to my bank account before the decimal point. With my luck, they'd wind up on the right side of the dot and I could be 98 cents worse off. That's a big percentage of the life's savings gone - - just like that. Maybe that's why they say crime doesn't pay (Unless you are a National MP). ;) |

| 842366 | 2009-12-23 01:06:00 | being able to brag about the smarts to do the perfect crime.... ....theres always a victim... or else it wouldn't be a crime? We started with robbery in this thread. Metla has a good point in that some offences are against the law but has no victims as such. Taking illegal drugs makes victims in that some people have to commit theft in order to feed the habit. Even legal drugs like tobacco and alcohol may affect other people. Speeding can cause other people to take avoiding action. Trespassing on a farm can cause distress during lambing and calving. |
