843703 2009-12-28 03:09:00 It would have to be made very clear it was a "buyer beware" and no responsibility taken if there were any disputes.

I should add, when I saw the title of this thread I thought Greg was trying to sell PF1. Isn't trade like that anyway ? buyer beware -- Every one has heard and some have had first hand experience in items that are not always how advertised ? Nothing but a con!!

At least here, if a person has to have X number of posts, that "may" stop the spammers - or should.

I would say / hope at a guess that most people here, if selling something would hopefully be honest-they would soon get #%* if they weren't.

Like wise Jen -- Though WTF:eek: -- Selling PF1 -hmmmmmmmmmm okayyyyy

843706 2009-12-28 08:07:00 Metla ran "TradeF1" for a while.

Yep, and after all the effort Mets went to to create it patronage was rather poor.

843709 2009-12-29 03:47:00 It could be a forum where you have to have over 100 posts to start a thread, with a max of 5 threads in a 7-day period perhaps? Any member can "post" a response. It could be pretty crude but effective, not to mention there would be additional traffic driven to the PF1 site from it, it'd be useful for members, and FFBM would benefit from the additional $$ from ad impressions / clicks that no doubt arise.

That said, moderation could be an interesting subject, though who knows, it may not actually require much as it would be mainly for the PF1 regulars, wouldn't be any "fly-by-nighters".

It's a though, worth putting to the powers-that-be IMO :)
