1127298 2010-08-12 16:20:00 I have come across where suddenly say in MS Outlook when you try to move the vertical scrollbar it starts "fighting" against you and tries to repeatedly go down when you try to scroll up....like jerking in opposite direction to what you are moving to... Same happens in MS Word.

Does anyone know what triggers this anomally. Normally restart of PC fixes it. Have mostly come across IBM T series laptops.

1127299 2010-08-12 20:27:00 I came across a similar problem with MYOB software a couple of years ago.
It was the Intelli-mouse drivers that caused it.

1127300 2010-08-12 22:07:00 Yeah - Could be mouse drivers or graphic drivers, or even low batteries if its wireless. My Media center does that when the battery is low.

Try starting the PC in safe mode and see if it still does it, this will load the default graphic drivers - this can eliminate or not the graphics.
