1127013 2010-08-12 05:24:00 Hi all, so we have an Expo coming up and would like a couple of 32"? LCD which we can use as monitors attached to lappy, so the text is easier to read....Either that or some good size monitors period. Trouble with big LCD, is they have big resolutions which defeats the purpose. I mean 24" text pitch would be too small, therefore we would need say 27+.
When we get to that size, Im thinking they can only be used with PC's, so how about getting 32 inch LCD TV's with 720p res?

Suggestions?

1127015 2010-08-12 05:27:00 You could lower the resolutions of the external monitors in windows so everything is 'bigger', no? SoniKalien (792)

1127018 2010-08-12 05:31:00 32" (or larger) TV at 720p resolution would be perfect IMO - I have this in the lounge and can read text from across the room. wratterus (105)
1127019 2010-08-12 05:34:00 So you intend to buy what you need for this expo?
Renting would make more sense unless you need it again.

Well yes...cost is $350 per unit to rent....and at least if we buy, we can use them in the board rooms etc, and when the projector is otherwise in use!

How much can they be? $700? each?
