USA, the land of the free? or USA, we water-board all visitors, just in-case... |

If it happened in Europe there would be a fuss but then life would go on. I'm fond of the USA but they really do live in wilful isolation. This is a country where you need to be aware that any other person may have a handgun and use it. The dangers of ordinary life far exceed any risks from terrorists. As for Guantanamo, torture, and rendition, I can only watch in horror at what is perpetrated in the name of "the home of the free". |
