| 844156 | 2010-01-14 04:20:00 | Yeah they all gobble gas I suppose its the drag of the extra transmission not really. tho some that don't disconnect the front wheels from the driveshafts which makes it drink more again. its mainly due to heavy vehicle with bigger motors which has high ground clearance which gives it poor aerodynamics combined with a brick like body shape which is not great for aerodynamics. then add in big HEAVY wheels which has more rolling resistance and the weight takes more power to drive. |
