| 844116 | 2009-12-31 00:52:00 | typical NZ bad driving attitude yet again. how do you know they don't have a good reason? how do they cause an accident, they don't hit anyone. its the morons behind them that can't drive that crash. end of the day its got nothing to do with slow drivers or impatient drivers. it doesn't matter what speed or what the situation is, the same people will always blame something else to justify their bad driving. to them the world must dance to their tune, instead of them dancing to the worlds tune. another example is the "your not allowed to slow down or stop" which is to justify their tailgating and crashing when the car in front slows. NZ Typical short-sightedness again Sounds like your one of "them" lol Drive to the conditions and the speed limit where there are no issues, its a no brainier. Don't frustrate other drivers into doing stupid things. Be courteous, pull to the side if you are holding up 16 cars behind you. Slow ignorant driving is EXTREMELY dangerous. |

| 844117 | 2009-12-31 03:16:00 | who said anything about slow drivers being ignorant? i drive multiable different vehicles and with different loads. some you can drive fast, others slow. you missed the point........how do you know that they are not driving slow for a good reason? i have one vehicle which is driven at 90km/h max because its so low geared is nearly red lining at 100km/h. others are driven slow due to economy reasons with heavy loads, others are regulated to a set speed go can't go any faster even if you wanted to. while others will cruise at 120km/h with ease. how do you know that the person speedo isn't reading correctly. they could driving at 100km/h according to their gauge and your tearing your hair out because they are actually doing 95km/h. worrying about someone going 5-10km/h under the limit is pointless. just pass them when you can. 9/10 you will end up with that car right behind you when you hit the next town anyway which makes the whole exercise pointless. wait till you get the tractors and get stuck at 30km/h ! there is ALWAYS someone going slower than you and someone going faster. get used to it ! there is absolutely no such thing as "frustrate other drivers into doing stupid things". they do stupid things because they can't drive. if they get frustrated over fully legal driving then thats their problem. however if someone is doing deliberate bad driving to annoy other people then please report them. that doesn't include someone driving slow, unless they speed up to stop someone over taking, or blockading etc. also police are well used to idiots who ring up complaining that the slow driver is "drunk" and you could well face charges for doing that. your only complaining about silly little difference in speed. i have to put up with drivers who drive 30km/h in the middle of the road and try to take trucks head on. then theres the drive everywhere at 50km/h drivers, the 120km/h down the straight 30km/h round the corners, the drive everywhere at 70km/h drivers. roads i used to cruise through at well over 100km/h are 80km/h because all the townies keep crashing. the crash barriers get dented every week, they are ONLY repaired every month or so due to to much cost to get the guys out every week. and your stressing about people driving at 5-10km/h under the limit.......ROFLMAO ! |

If you are in a Ford Model T you have a reason not to be doing 100 on a flat road sunny day. If you do not feel safe driving 100 you should NOT be on the open road, thats not a reason. And yea there is such a thing as "frustrating drivers into doing stupid things", there are some retarded inconsiderate drivers out there that never look in there rear-view mirrors. If you are holding up a line of traffic for like half an hour without letting them pass you are a dangerous crap driver. |

| 844119 | 2009-12-31 04:55:00 | If you are holding up a line of traffic for like half an hour without letting them pass you are a dangerous crap driver. where in NZ is a road that you can't pass someone withen half an hour ?? the longest you have to wait is a few minutes before theres another passing opportunity. theres another straight or passing lane a few km's down the road. some of the stupid driving i've seen lately includes a car overtaking into a corner with an oncoming buss....and what around the corner.....another passing lane (which is only a few km's from the last one and only a km from the next town!). bad drivers patience runs out after 10-20 seconds. thats how pathetic they are. unless your one of those useless drivers who won't pass, they ignore all overtaking opportunities and actually expect the car in front to drive completely off the road so they can overtake. |

If they manage it I make *555 call and get the car stopped. Funny its not ok to rape chicks because its against the law but ok to some people breaking the law speeding. I am with tweak the defence some clown gets impatient because of a slow driver and does an idiotic passing manoeuvre and crashes is stupid. Its just like me wanting to rape some chick because she has a short shirt and low cut top she asked for it. Cant see the difference its a lame defence. |
