| 844179 | 2010-01-02 22:08:00 | Ive got the same problem with one of my wharfedales, except its the woofer (or whatever its called) and not the tweeter. I think its where the wire connects to the cone which makes it a b**ch of a job to fix Anyone recommend a decent repair man in chch? Or even somewhere that sells wharfedale speakers as Id like to keep the speaker original cos they kick ***. Sorry metla, threads all yours again The guys below rebuilt my Goodmans speakers about 18months ago after the speakers suspension rubbers started to perish. This caused the voice coils to rub on the magnets which muffled the sound. When returned (I only sent the speakers not the enclosures) and refitted the sound was excellent. I highly recommend them HH Sound System Services 3/1020 Ferry Rd Christchurch Ph 03 384-3130 Fax 03 63843272 |
