1127700 2010-08-15 10:39:00 NOT "hopefully in groups?". DEFINITELY in groups!! Even getting two per scan halves the time. And when you are scanning all the old family stuff........ Nuff said.

Do they output (separate) the images into individual files? I assume so, or you'd be cutting and pasting forever.

I've had a look in Price Spy, but is it just me or is it much harder to see a list of models that it used to be? As I see it, now there's more bumpf and less information.

Maybe its a PS window configuration thing I haven't picked up on yet. :illogical

Cheers

1127701 2010-08-15 11:01:00 My parents have just got a dedicated slide/negative scanner from HN. They found it to have a much better result then a flat bed scanner with slide attachment. One of the designers at work has just taken photographs of some old sports team photos with a DSLR and tripod and has had great results and a lot quicker then using a scanner( no good for slides/negatives).
Do you know anyone with a drum scanner? (I remember you mentioning you had a relative in prepress?)
PS pricespy is a pain in the ass too use now

Thats a great suggestion!

I have a Mate that has one. Will take four slides or 12 negatives at one time so he tells me. You may get it cheaper elsewhere or not.
