"a Skype spokesman did not deny the ability to intercept the communication."

845251 2010-01-03 22:49:00 Intercept, yes, but decrypt perhaps not so easy. That said, I still don't trust Skype. Chilling_Silence (9)
845252 2010-01-03 22:53:00 Security organisations in the Western World like the SIS here are really pissed off they cant break encrypted code on the internet. Thats why they are pushing for restrictions.

How do you know they can't? No form of encryption is 100% secure.

If they could break the code they wouldn't be asking the government to make encrypting emails illegal.
This encrypting is billions times harder to nut out than a dumb enigma machine with 12 wheels.

I would miss him he is best NZ born prime minister NZ has ever had.
If I was in England I wouldn't be slanging off about their pm and yet enjoy being in the host country.
I suppose it was just common courtesy I was taught from my parents and school.

845257 2010-01-04 01:53:00 Jim Hacker: "Well, anyway. Why are we bugging Hugh Halifax? Is he talking to the Russians?"
Sir Humphrey: "No, the French actually. That's much more serious."
Jim Hacker: "Why?"
Bernard Woolley: "The Russians already know what we are doing."
