2010-01-02 05:19:00 | Hi All. Our freeview box is on the blink, keeps losing the chanel setup. Reboot & ok. So what is the difference between Satelite TV & Freeview TV. I know what Freeview is all about. Thanks PJ

2010-01-02 06:13:00 | Theres no diff between satellite and freeview. Satellite is one of the options of freeview. The other is terrestrial (which supports HD). Unless you mean Satellite on Sky, which is different. Its got more channels | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2010-01-02 06:36:00 | Here is a related question. We have std sky (non HD) cos they have the foreign channels. There is also Freeview to get a few more channels. If we don't want to pay for Sky HD to get the free HD channels does that mean we need 2 dish - a Sky dish and a Freeview dish? Cheers :D

Cheers :D Foreign language channels off the D3 satellite like ERT world, Aljeezera etc? Depending on your installer and the size of your dish you may be able to use the one dish. I've just had freeview (satellite) put on my Father In laws existing dish and decoder. The installer we used was able to put on a bracket with a second LNB, and a diseq switch so the decoder can choose between the two satellites seamlessly. Other quote we had did include a second dish. |

2010-01-02 08:26:00 | HD freeview is only available through terrestrial not satellite Oh ok. Big misunderstanding. So what's the thing called? Terrestrial antenna? Plus the Freeview decoder.
