1128780 2010-08-17 12:33:00 Hey, was wondering what price I could sell a nvidia GTX 480 graphics card for.

It's second hand. Perfect condition. Has never been over-clocked.

Original box/packaging/cds. The Mini-HDMI cable wrapping has been opened.

It's also Gigabyte.

Hasn't been used for more then 5 hours.

Any ideas?

I'm tight on money and need to sell it on to pay bills.
(Computer bottle necks it too much anyway, dual core @2.2 with 2GB RAM.)

Minimum System requirements:
PCI x16
600W Power Supply
2GB System Memory (4GB Recommended)
Optical Drive for Software installation (Which are also available online)
Both a 6-pin AND an 8-pin PCI Express auxiliary power connector.

Say it didn't work with your system or something.

Alternatively, sell it for what you bought it for -10% or something, giving the exact info as above.

1128782 2010-08-17 12:42:00 I work at a computer shop (as a technician, might I add). I bought it off our wholesaler. It would look bad if I gave it back.

837.62 is how much I paid for it...

So 753.86 would be a safe price?

They're selling for over $100 more, if you're looking for a quick sale, 750 would seem reasonable. You could probably even go as high as 780, but also check pricespy in case there's any cheaper than on TM.

1128784 2010-08-17 18:55:00 $700 or lower. The ones that 8ft posted a link to probably won't sell I reckon. qazwsxokmijn (102)

5 hours?!! You didn't know about the bills 5 hours earlier when you bought it?

Well the good news is you should get your money back. Can't you hang on to it and sell it through your shop you work at?

1128786 2010-08-17 20:46:00 I wouldn't even look at it for that price. Its too easy to add a (small) amount to it and get it new with all the backup of first owner warranty etc.

I buy quite a lot here and there, TM especially and 2nd hand is drops the item at least 25% - 30% then and there, after that point you start deducting money for missing and less than perfect status.

I know this card doesn't have one ( I have two of them myself) but a lot of them come with a case badge for instance, I would take money off if that was missing, as an example.

1128789 2010-08-17 22:32:00 Just putting this out there - I'd be keen if it was $650! :D

$700 trademe bid, success fee is what, close to $50?
