1128075	2010-08-15 23:11:00	Something strange happening with my comp over the last week or so. Very slow to load (like 3 or 4 times what it usually takes) Primary HD (Maxtor 50gig) seems to be working overtime when not being asked to do anything like load programs etc. I've used CClenaer, scanned with MSE, Malwarebytes, Spybot and done a defrag with defraggler. Defrag showed up some fragmented files associated with Google Earth but not much else. Any help would be appreciated. 1128077	2010-08-16 01:12:00	I have had similar problems during the last week. It would take the computer from 5 to 15 minutes to get its act together, then it would work normally. I presume that the protection programs [Avast and Advanced System Care] had done their job. The trouble recurred next day, then I turned off System Restore and no further problems. 1128079	2010-08-16 07:09:00	Hi Speedy, the comp seems to have settled down a bit and loading faster than it was, but not as fast as it used to be. Just wondering whether it may be because of the 14 or so updates last week. Comp specs are :- Pentium 4 @ 2.4MHz Gigabyte GA8SIML Mobo SIS650 on-board Graphics 1 GB DDR SDRAM Drives Primary Maxtor 50GB Secondary 250GB Seagate No thoroughbred ... but plods along to the finish line .... eventually :clap	SP8's (9836)
