| 845942 | 2010-01-05 02:10:00 | Just wondering if anyone keeps getting called by the following phone number, advertising a free holiday. They seem to know my name, and phone number. They called me a few days ago, and I told them I wasn't interested. They then phoned again today, and I asked to speak to their manager, and they hung up. I guess there is nothing I can do, but this offshore phone scam spam is only going to get worse I suspect. Just warning people who get this number appearing on their caller display, that it is very likely to be a scam. | robbyp (2751) | ||

| 845947 | 2010-01-05 03:08:00 | Hang up the phone. Was that easy? Yes, but you have to keep going to the phone, wasting my time. ON the caller display it shows that they have phoned more than 10 times! It is a nusience. They are obviously a scam, because what company would hang up, when you ask to speak to their manager. They have said they are an Australian travel company. I see that whocallsme.com that they have also pissed off other people. At least I have got caller display so I can vet the call. |

| 845948 | 2010-01-05 03:36:00 | Yeah, I had something similar about a week ago.. And being the boring person I am, I played along. I acted really stupid and kept asking the same question over and over. I like playing with those people. I didn't get the number, but I won a free holiday to some place all expense paid thing, they were setting a new business up or something. |

| 845951 | 2010-01-16 04:37:00 | A long time back someone mentioned an agency that you can regiser with to stop receiving these phone spam calls. I have been inundated with calls recently from (very) Indian callers tying to interest me in a NZ auction site (I won't put the site as I refuse to advertise them). When I asked how to get off their list, they requested an email address and a mobile number. I laughed heartily. If anyone can tell me who the call-blocking agency were and how they work, I will be eternally grateful. | Miami Steve (2128) | ||
