In any case, as long as your internet is connected at bootup it will automatically load the new virus definitions when it starts.

Yes you will need to burn the ISO image to a CD. If you haven't done this before read this: forum.imgburn.com You will need to download ImgBurn program from that site as well.

I would recommend to use a CD-RW or DVD-RW so you can re-use the disk.

1129269 2010-08-19 00:00:00 Yes a DVD+R would be fine but it would kind of be a waste. That's why I recommend re-writeable for this kind of thing.

Bitdefender will release a new version soon so whatever you download now will go out of date quickly.

I have a pack of 5 CD-RW and 5 DVD-RW that I use for this kind of thing
