1128098	2010-08-17 03:57:00	Thanks all for reply, Actually all the reply will be useful because we got two computers, one is Desktop PC and other is laptop. And third Desktop PC of my friend has Windows 7 with 64bit. Desktop PC: with Windows Vista 32bit --> So USB Dial up is best suggestion for this. Desktop PC: with Windows 7 64bit --> So Intel 536EP is best suggestion for this. Please let me know for the following: Laptop: Windows 7 64bit for PCI in our PCs, I don't know whether it is PCI-E or PCI slots ?? Thanks.	prayami (13094)
1128099	2010-08-17 04:06:00	The only thing with the Intel 536EP is. 1. Its old. And some shops may or may not stock them now. And 2. Intel decided to get rid of / remove the drivers from their site. The 32 bit drivers USED to be there (not the 64 bit drivers). But now there's no drivers at all for it on the Intel site. BUT, if its in XP (32 bit), updating the drivers, in device manager will install them anyway. I had to look around to see where the 64 bit drivers were. But did manage to find some (that installed). But as stated in your other post, I haven't tested it, to see if it dials out or connects to anything. PCI slots are white, so if there are white slots in your PC's they're PCI slots. 1128100	2010-08-17 04:22:00	In our laptop with Windows 7 64bit, we haven't installed any new thing yet, Can we change it to 32bit? Because I think Windows 7 64bit driver issues will be there for one year at least for these kind of devices and drivers. When I started my laptop for first time, it was prompted me whether I want 32bit or 64bit. And the Windows 7 was all ready loaded on that. I got the recovery disks but that was after I selected 64bit options. Thanks.	prayami (13094)
