| 1129982 | 2010-08-20 12:23:00 | On 5/8/2010 I started getting event 2017 srv non paged pool allocation errors. No idea what triggered these. Anyone good enough to check their Win7 system logs to see if there is a pattern, please? KB2286198 went through 4/8 but probably not relevant. I have found registry mods that are supposed to fix this but my machine doesn't have the keys that are supposed to be modified. |

| 1129984 | 2010-08-21 00:53:00 | Thanks, Speedy. No Linux here! Yes, saw that one and those are the missing registry entries. I can add them in, of course, but I was wondering why this 'problem' has just started. Mmmmm, just had a thought. I think I now know why I have got these errors. It is because I started to do a Macrium image backup from another machine to my machine. It is scheduled weekly and I can now relate dates and times to the errors. So, if I am going to continue this I will need to configure my machine to look more like a server. Sorry to waste your time. |
