Personally I would get rid of the big K, get NOD32 (I know you just renewed, but never mind) or MSSE if you want free. Maybe you could try a reinstall? |

| 1129851 | 2010-08-21 12:45:00 | Have you uninstalled Kaspersky yet?? If you haven't uninstall it now. We'll soon find out. Another thing we may have to check is whether there are any drivers under upperfilters and lowerfilters in the registry. Because, if Kaspersky is installed, one of its drivers can end up here. | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

| 1129857 | 2010-08-27 05:32:00 | [UPDATE] Have contacted Kaspersky with a list of my problems with their anti-virus software, and they are happy to refund after offering no help to fix the problems. Also went to download microsoft security essentials and I get re-directed to a screen that says "Not available in your country or region, You appear to be in a country or region where Microsoft Security Essentials is not available. Thank you for your interest in Microsoft Security Essentials." what am I doing wrong?? I tried both the MS website direct & also thru download.cnet.com Any ideas?? |
