1131477 2010-08-25 01:15:00 I have a Samsung 932BW 19inch widescreen monitor and when I plug in an HDMI to DVI connector, there is not much room to connect the HDMI to the adapter and I have to force it in while bending the HDMI because of where the base of the monitor connects to the monitor interferes, I was wondering if it was ok to cut out part of the back of the monitor to compensate for the HDMI cord so I could play my PS3 on it and not have to worry about breaking something inside of the monitor because when I do get them plugged in the monitor intermittently flashes to a white screen quickly about every 10 to 30 seconds and I am worried I may be messing up the board or connector on the monitor, any suggestions? haybailz17 (11016)
1131478 2010-08-25 01:24:00 Get another stand? If its got the holes at the back of the monitor. The original stand for this was too low. So, I decided to get a VESA stand. Made a lot of difference Speedy Gonzales (78)
1131479 2010-08-25 01:26:00 You would be better off getting a HDMI to DVI cable. Sounds a little risky hacking away at the Cover.

DSE has them for example a 1.5Mtr for under $30.00 Product Code: XH9595 in case This link (www.dse.co.nz) doesn't work.

It is not the stand itself, it is blocking the cable because of the way the monitor was made to join with the stand, thanks though.
