1130981 2010-08-23 10:17:00 I have not had a lot of sucess with Firefox and Vista and before that, with XP, so wondering what other mail program I can install with Win 7.

I am presently using Firefox but would like to try some others before I settle on one program.

1130982 2010-08-23 10:19:00 Thunderbird if you want a free one. Outlook if you have office. Speedy Gonzales (78)
1130983 2010-08-23 10:22:00 Do you want a mail program or a browser? It looks like you are confusing them. Snorkbox (15764)

1130989 2010-08-23 22:34:00 Ive just gone on to Windows 7
And I migrated from Outlook Express to Thunderbird.
I am liking it so far.
But of course I was already using Firefox.
And boy am I glad to be rid of Outlook Express, with all its limitations of what you can export and import.

1130990 2010-08-24 00:36:00 Windows Live Mail is OK but looks like **** if you install it on XP. Windows Mail which came with Vista was much better.

I personally find Thunderbird incredibly weird and have heard too many horror stories of people losing emails.
