850104 2010-01-19 23:33:00 When I look at the file structure, I see 12 and sometimes 16 huge 1Gb files all stored on a 4.3Gb DVD, something doesnt add up.

Can someone please explain whats going on.

Thanks

John.

850108 2010-01-20 00:29:00 Usually its just a matter of selecting the correct file, and thanks to Google you can usually find someone else has done the hard work for you.

A commercial dvd is normally over 9 GB in size. Unless you provide a screenshot of what you mean, we have no idea.

850112 2010-01-20 02:11:00 Isn't copying commercial dvds and any discussion thereof considered a no-no on this forum? :)

Or have we finally come into the real world? :D :D

They may be dual layer. There may be tiny text on the edge of the disc which says "this is a dual layer disc, there may be a slight pause in playback when transitioning layers."
