I would like to keep them for that reason, but shelf space is a bit more important at the moment. i might just put them in a box and put them in our storage shed. and show that young one in years to come how easy they have it now... hahahaha LOL:D;) stevensaaron (6348)

Yep, wasn't all that long ago that a 256MB memory stick was over $1000. And a colour laser printer cost more than $10,000. :stare:

would have been pretty amazing back then . . . but I think you mean 40 Meagabyte HDD LOL

In the January 2010 Austalian PC user mag their 20 Anniversary issue, some interesting facts from times long gone.

Take This article (www.imagef1.net.nz) - its scanned as I wasn't going to write it all out - people think they are hard done by now awhhhhhhh:crying.

I still have a two speed external CD writer in the workshop that works - cost me around $1500 in 1998 (and thats no typo).
