850334 2010-01-23 05:58:00 I would keep a really old one. I've done that with an old computer style of newspaper. It's amazing to look back in there and see the prices we used to pay, and the very, very limited resources that at the time seemed fantastic.
33MHz! 40MB HDD! 8MB RAM! And dearer than todays machines. IF you adjust for inflation effects, possibly 4x dearer than todays machines!

Also kinda interesting (and sad) to see all the companies come and go.

I thought I was a king when I had my first 40GB HDD. Just think - it'll hold 120 5.25" floppies (360kb capacity). If you told me then that I'd have 2TB on a single drive (and still want more capacity) I wouldn't have believed a word of it.

Roll on 10TB!
