| 1131903 | 2010-08-26 20:28:00 | What is the ideal size for the swapfile in XP these days. Sometimes, when I play C&C, it microfreeze and I've linked it back to the size of the swapfile. Just curious. By the way, I found out my orchid is a Cymbidium, it has been planted properly so I now wait with abated breath on the fast and furious growth that I will see. The plant should be so glad to be out of water it should kiss me. lol sarel |

Two big fallacies are: * The file should be a fixed size so that it does not get fragmented, with minimum and maximum set the same * The file should be 2.5 times the size of RAM (or some other multiple) Both are wrong in a modern, single-user system.
