It's easier then being a grunt and from memory it is a different recruitment process to joining the RNZIR. You do the same basic training, have the same RFL, you also get to shoot rifles etc. but when I went through it was a different set of people who do the initial medical check. | andrew93 (249) | ||

Didn't the OP state they wouldn't admit to having asthma if they went through the process again, or they regretted admitting it? Here's a chance to go through the process again......the OP stated they applied to be a driver, and the Artillery is full of non-combat roles. |

| 853100 | 2010-01-29 21:03:00 | Yea I doubt I could re-apply for anything through the Army again. I'm guessing to join the RNZA you have to go through the NZ Army crap, so that rules that out. |
