I have bought the latest gps available, still the latest in navman, for my effective use, and paid the top dollars. If it is found defective, I would imagine any one will support the customer not the supplier. Are the supplier giving them business or customers? I will revise my approach to them and come back to you guys in the forum. Thanks I had to wait 3 weeks after the holiday when I handed the unit to the store with my receipt. When I was in Auckland I went into DSE and asked if they can look up my receipt cos I did a online purchase and if I could also get a loan unit. The reply was no. So in total I had to wait 4 weeks incl the time in Auckland when it was broken. I bought the 2nd highest model of Navman. I spent maybe $450. |

| 852915 | 2010-01-30 22:42:00 | Then I think the problmem not lies the Noel Leeming, it is the Navman from the above comments. Si in reality we should boycott only navman from Noel leeming, but ok to buy other items from Noel Leeming. I hope that makes sense | Merill (15600) | ||
| 852916 | 2010-01-30 22:56:00 | I think, it's not DSE store policy to provide loan items to customers. I don't think any store that have this policy. I know some car stores do and some repair car places do. Ie., a loan vehicle. But not all do. Most store policy is, if it breaks, send it back to us and we send it away, it may take a few weeks. So 1 week I was in Auckland without my recepit. 2nd week, it was closed for Xmas period. 3rd and 4th week, it said it would take 2 weeks or maybe a bit more due to the Xmas backlog. So I got mine back within reasonable time. No complaints. |

I hope that makes sense No, it makes no sense at all, and I doubt that any sensible person would take a blind bit of notice of your rather pathetic and self-serving whingeing. YOU can boycott whomsoever you like, but I doubt that anybody else will care, one way or the other. Noel Leeming would probably be happy if you never crossed their doorstep again, and if you keep on publicly slandering them they may decide to take action against you. I'd shut up and go into damage control mode if I were you, because if NL staff have seen this thread (and they probably have) you may not get a very charitable reception next time you visit their Store. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.................... Billy 8-{) |
