| 852990 | 2010-01-30 08:48:00 | Both Plasma and LCD TVs have there good and bad points and when put together out weigh each other, so really none is better than the other. I have an LCD but wouldn't be unhappy if it was a Plasma. :) |

Most current LCD are very good, but if picture quality is the "highest" priority Plasma is the way to go, its fairly well established fact. On LCD the backlight still effects colours esp deep blacks and there is latency that can show in certain situations. Plasma does not suffer these issues, nothing "subjective" about it :P |

In a very light room better than Plasma as they dont reflect as much. Better for Xbox or PS3. Things like burn in on a Plasma arnt really a issue now so I wont list it. Best Picture Quality is Plasma, but to keep it in perspective we are not talking a huge amount. I can see the difference, some people can't. I just warn people when they go into a shop, dont let them play a cartoon like Nemo (which they often do as it looks so great but its kinda cheating). Get something fast moving, light and dark action movie maybe Star Trek, and you should see the differences between Plasma and LCD. |
