852323 2010-01-29 00:23:00 Must be a slow news day if a stupid cellular system goes down even makes the news.
I am not a tech expert but I would have thought there could be problems setting a new system. When I re- engine a bus I expect months of grief later on down the track as things dont work out as I thought they would.
If its got tyres, tracks, tits or circuit boards its gunna cause you problems.

On Nat Radio Paul Reynolds was asked to comment on the number of Telecom customers buying Vodafone SIMs and he said that he thought many already had alternative SIM cards.

In our house we have Telecom and Vodafone cellphones to cope with locations that get better coverage from one or the other. Unlike fixed line connections it doesn't cost much to have a choice.

852331 2010-01-30 06:22:00 Much ado about nothing.
If you are that dependent on technology you had better have a backup plan.
I dont know anything thats man made which does not crap out.
