1132004 2010-08-27 04:50:00 I'm still using ZA 5.5.094.000!!! on XP. From the previous comments, I guess I'm very much on the outer. rumpty (2863)
1132005 2010-08-27 04:55:00 Sygate Personal Firewall Pro. The final version before Norton bought it to wreck it as a competitor. John H (8)
1132006 2010-08-27 06:12:00 ESET Smart Security plus my router's firewall. Windows 7 firewall is disabled. chiefnz (545)
1132007 2010-08-27 06:37:00 7 fw jareemon (5207)
1132008 2010-08-27 11:43:00 Router firewall only blocks things coming in, not going out (and even then it's not usually that good)

Windows firewall (even the new Win7 one) is still far too leaky for outbound data.

Comodo etc is what you need if you want proper security.

1132009 2010-08-27 20:43:00 Thanks guys.
So it looks like for Windows 7 its Micosoft Firewall.

@Agent24 - I found Comodo very hard to understand.

1132010 2010-08-27 23:02:00 Windows 7 firewall is fully featured, so no need for third party software.
Still waiting for that definitive link Deimos.
