If you can get hold of it, BBC's "Planet Earth" is just brilliant in BD.

852975 2010-01-29 09:37:00 Bah....Humbug.

I was looking forward to Star Trek, was disappointed as soon as that stupid opening scene got going. And it carried on in the same vein for the entire movie.

I take that back, The opening scene was alright, It was the following sequence where the kid was in the car that annoyed me.

Still, With all the available resources they could make a far better movie.

How on earth can you get it so wrong,so many times.

Blue Ray is what you need, having gothe big TV,I am sure the boss will not mind.

852978 2010-01-29 11:24:00 The only other time I watched the movie was on a plane trip to Aussie, It had no impact on me at all, This time I watched it on my projector with the fat speakers and enjoyed every second of it.

Not interested in Blue-Ray, Neither my Home Theater or Plasma TV support full HD so its of little use to me. The only future upgrade I plan is to get an up-scaling DVD player.
