If he was in business and people left their computers with him, he must have kept a record of the transaction and a way to contact the PC owner when he had finishing doing whatever he had been asked to do. The police would just have to go through his records and contact all his customers. Unless he destroyed business records - in which case the IRD could have a go at him too.... Or maybe he did everything for cash... In which case the IRD could have a go at him too.... |
