1132244 2010-08-27 22:06:00 I have a netcomm modem (NB14) and since last weekend a Router (Tenda S108)
It seems ever since I connected the modem to the router and when my son and myself are playing on the internet at the same time my connection sometimes drops (not his!) and the page gets displayed of can not be opened.
Is there a program where you can choose how much broadband you can give my sons computer?
How an I solve this problem? am not very technical with modems and routers.. :(

1132245 2010-08-27 22:36:00 There is, but not with that modem / router.

From what I can tell ,the Tenda S108 is just a network switch?
The NB14 is quite a good make / model, so it should be reliable in my opinion. When it says the page cannot be displayed, your computer doesn't also say that the cable is unplugged does it?

Who's your ISP? I wonder if it could be DNS related ...

1132246 2010-08-27 22:45:00 I am wondering if it is my internet connection settings, am with slingshot, no it does not say the network cable is unplugged :( mark1978 (13845)
1132247 2010-08-27 23:38:00 You're the second post today having connection problems .... both with Slingshot .... just wondering whether it could be the ISP ? SP8's (9836)
1132248 2010-08-27 23:50:00 If it's DNS issues, then try changing your DNS to OpenDNS?

If it's Slingshot, coz they're apparently having issues today, then you're just fresh outta luck unfortunately :(
