1455849 2018-11-21 17:21:00 Hi guys
I am a desktop computer user.
Just Office and web browsing - no games etc
To me space on my desk is always at a premium and my nice Microsoft keyboard takes up a lot of space.
This is due to the fact that it has a numeric keypad, which I NEVER USE.

Have you got or have you tried one of those Tenkeyless keyboards?
They dont have the numeric keypad.

They are very hard to find, unless you buy one of the radical gaming types which are all over $100.

I just bought a Perixx model 407 wired keyboard.
It gives me a lot more space on my computer table.

perixx.com

But it is taking me a while to get used to the layout of the Home/End and PageUp and PageDn keys

What do you think
I got mine from Amazon for NZ $38 in shipping.

1455850 2018-11-21 21:10:00 I have a Cherry mini key board: www.backcs.co.uk

I also have one of these: www.ebay.com

I use them both all the time on various setups because they are easy to type with and take up so little space.

I get the impression that you do not like pbtech :)
I have dealt with them since they only had one shop in Penrose and have never had a problem. Maybe I am just lucky.

1455855 2018-11-22 23:32:00 I use the keyboard that came with my Tablet cover.

I kept the cover, added a small pad of paper for hardcopy notes in longhand, and removed the bluetooth/rechargable keyboard and use it for my Raspberry Pi.

Cheap cheap cheap cheap --- very inexpensive that way.

The whole cover-slash-keyboard was about $10.00USD + Free Shipping (China) bu Amazon Smile and I'm very happy with both parts.

1455856 2018-11-30 20:43:00 Digby like you I'm an "old b!gger", but after the big fire at the place where I worked back in 1973, senior staff were able to take any furniture and fittings. The business built a new factory out of town.

I took many things and the desk in the photo was one.

Adapted it by taking the brace out and inserting two runners and a piece of office shelving, "over 100 years old" notice it's original paint, rofl.

Shelf sticks occasionally, nothing that a good thump doesn't fix.

Like the black on white full keyboard too.

lurking.
