1455449 2018-11-09 20:37:00 ..and another annoying sh1t that does your head in. Note them here.

Just because the machine doesn't recognise a too-light 80c gravy sachet, I get red flashing lights and the armed offenders to sort me and my thieving ways out.

What 'advancement' annoys you?

In a positive mood? Note that too. e.g. the new self-serve machines at maccas are a stroke of brilliance. No longer need to deal with with someone at the counter.

I hate that at the checkout - and it looks like the Aussies do too - www.news.com.au

1455453 2018-11-11 03:24:00 "research showed 84 per cent of customers prefer to be served by a human"

I'm definitely in the 16% then. Apart from the annoyances I still prefer them to waiting for a person.

LOL, we did that yesterday, just stuck it all in the back and got the bags when we got home.

You can buy those 15c thick plastic ones at Countdown though....

1455455 2018-11-11 18:57:00 Be interesting to see at the end of the next financial year how much profit Countdown has made from their caring, heartfelt gesture. allblack (6574)
1455456 2018-11-11 20:31:00 You can get the traditional single use plastic bags from China via Alibaba delivered to your door for about $NZ2.50 per 100. The Supermarkets would have been getting them even cheaper than that! CliveM (6007)
