1455335 2019-01-18 18:35:00 I keep two Yummy cardboard apple boxes and a cooler bag in the boot. All you do is off-load from your trolley in the carpark and carry the boxes inside when you get home. Simple, no plastic bags are involved! Bryan (147)
1455336 2019-01-19 01:03:00 We do the same Bryan. So simple. Are you and I the smart ones on the forum?

1455337 2019-01-19 03:00:00 When I have a big shop, I take my laundry basket and put it in the trolly. That works well for me! R.M. (561)
1455338 2019-01-19 03:16:00 That makes 3 of us!!!

1455342 2019-01-19 06:08:00 We shop monthly, so I empty my ute of tools and put two chilly bins in the back. What doesn't fit in the bins just goes in the tray, no boxes or bags needed. gary67 (56)
1455343 2019-01-20 17:14:00 I despise the Green SJW's

The single use plastic bags at Supermarkets were great.
They were cheap (under 1 cent) clean, hygenic and fast and convenient.

I don't litter.
Except the time I took my own plastic bags out of the boot and the wind caught them and they blew away.

So Now I use one or two plastic boxes (cubes from Mitre 10). I take them in and put them in my trolley. When they are full that's all I buy.

Nice and easy to carry out from the car to the house.

1455344 2019-01-20 17:18:00 Yes, all council s should have signs up at their "transfer stations" saying what happens exaclty to the waste from their station.
Eg is it recycled into something else
Is it crushed.
Is it sent to a storage place?

In my opinion it must cost much more to make a new glass bottle from old bottles and new cardboard boxes from old cardboard which is printed on and has sellotape all over it etc.
