1452885 2018-08-20 21:52:00 Thanks guys.

Could the best video in the world look like the sample??

you cant improve on limitations of the actual recording .

Sports broadcasting is moving towards much higher quality though, higher res, much higher frame-rate . But if its not recorded/broadcast/saved in the new higher res
high frame rate then $10000 of PC upgrades cant make it look better .
Streamed vid has the issue of the huge bandwidth needed for that very high res . That costs $$$

Is there any point upgrading now for tech thats not 100% established , or that may not be available in NZ for quite some time (HQ streamed vid)

Plan is to trial a number of video clips and compare. He lives half an hour away so will get there when opportunity presents itself.

I checked my PC specs with Speccy. Graphics are dated 2008 release. Radeon HD 3200, 2943 MB, DX10

I read where 60FPS is reasonably good for "sports". There was a comparison between FPS rates. 60 was clearly better by eye.

Looks like fibre will be available here in about a years time. Finally!

Learning heaps...
