| 1454850 | 2018-10-24 00:54:00 | Ive tried quite a few Weed Killers to get rid of small weeds around the Garden and the driveway etc. Does anybody have a suggestion without paying big money? Cheers. | bruciebear (1478) | ||

| 1454853 | 2018-10-24 02:07:00 | I salted the cracks in my concrete driveway, took months to see any signs of life after that and even then just a little bit. Don't do it anywhere you actually want things to grow though. For my edges I just use the cheap roundoup clones from the warehouse or bunnings, not sure if that's what piroska was referring to? Anyway identical ingredients to roundup at a fraction of the cost and generally ldoes a good job of killing the weeds under my fence and lasts a few months. Originally started doing this after comparing the active ingredients on the back of the bottle at the warehouse between roundup and the generic cheap one, not only were they the same but at the time the bottle was the same shape and the warnings and instructions were word for word leading me to the conclusion they probably came from the same manufacturer. Only difference was the name and colour of the bottle. And if it's just one or two stubborn weeds boiling water does the trick, especially if you can cover it or find a way to keep the heat in for a few minutes. I do that to the pipe my house earth wire comes out of from time to time when weeds start to grow out of it. |

| 1454857 | 2018-10-24 07:18:00 | I sprayed cheap engine degreaser from super cheap auto, works quick and ok. I have used the Roundup clone "Weed Out" - works good but takes 6-7 days (at stated mix ratio of 20 ml/1 litre I think) before it appears to be working effectively. Lasts 3 months. But eventually I sweated away and dug out weeds along concrete paths.. | kahawai chaser (3545) | ||
