1133466 2010-08-31 10:55:00 I'm looking at purchasing a netbook that is small and lightweight for when I go on holiday. I will mostly be using it for word processing, and backing up my photographs throughout the day. Long battery life is important to me, but so is being able to touch type comfortably.

Can any touch typist recommend a comfortable, easy to use netbook? Or even which ones to steer clear of!

Thanks in advance

Its difficult to touch-type, very difficult in my opinion.

1133469 2010-09-01 02:06:00 I've got an EEE 1005HA. Have touch typed for the last 10yrs and don't have any problems.

I'm used to typing on different keyboards though. My one at home is a large gaming one, work is normal lenovo and I don't have any trouble scaling down to the EEE.

It's hard typing on your lap, but if you're on a hard surface you should get used to it in an hour or so.
