New Zealand has it's own Brill and Turbot as well. en.wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org Where is the Otumahana lagoon? You gotta be an ex commercial fisherman right? Wish I had gone that way a good mate of mine bought up quota in the eighties and now he leases it out and just sits in the pub drinking piss all day. He is diving in it like Scrooge McDuck. |

| 853925 | 2010-02-01 01:10:00 | The Otumahana is the lagoon to the south of the Karamea river. It is not really connected to the River which has its lagoon to the north. No I'm only a keen amateur fisherman, I used to run a bus service there. yeah those guys with quota have it made all right |

| 853928 | 2010-02-01 01:33:00 | It does have probs, you just havent seen them, or come across them yet Digby. If it didnt have probs, there wouldnt be any patches / updates for it Corporates probably wont be in a rush to upgrade to it, it'll be too expensive. Some are probably still using 2000, and have no need to upgrade to XP or beyond. As the saying goes, if it aint broke why fix it I haven't upgraded. XP does the job, saves the hassle and the cost. A number of places I worked at had Win2000, some went to XP just 2 years ago. One or two was using Windows Server Workstation. |

| 853929 | 2010-02-01 03:21:00 | Melta and Cicero I don't agree. This thread is about Windows 7. Yet some people have taken it over with posts about fishing. I am interested in Windows 7, and when I saw that this thread was now on to 2 pages I thought I'd check it out. But there is only one new post on Windows 7 Whilst I agree that PC World Chat is for non PC problems, but why not start up a thread about fishing ! ? |
