1132862 2010-08-29 22:00:00 Ok, bit hard to get a decent pic with the camera like this, and they are both in 1366 x 768, the one on the right has a native of 1680 x 1050 normally, but can you see whats wrong with the one on the left?

This is the one I posted about a while ago, she'd sent screenshots showing icky pixels or something........

1132863 2010-08-29 22:05:00 The left one shows more green than the VS. And the pic is deeper / darker. Thats about it Speedy Gonzales (78)
1132864 2010-08-29 22:08:00 What's wrong with the one on the left? It looks better than the one on the right :p SoniKalien (792)
1132865 2010-08-29 22:11:00 Desktop icons on wrong side, syncing in wrong place I suppose. zqwerty (97)
1132866 2010-08-29 22:15:00 The one on the right is washed out like the colour is going, the one on the left has definition and looks to be in good condition. DeSade (984)
1132867 2010-08-29 22:46:00 LOL, what I thought too.

Mine I notice did not have Dynamic contrast turned on, I did and it adjusted the bright/washed out look, mine is still yellower, but it has all those bits you can alter the colour temp.

Good way to choose though isn't it? Hook them up side by side and compare. Buy the one you liked the pic better on (bad grammar).

1132868 2010-08-29 22:59:00 Surely there is some adjustment though, in regards to contrast/brightness. wratterus (105)
1132869 2010-08-30 02:19:00 Personally I'd take the one on the left, I prefer the display to be a bit darker than most people ;) Agent_24 (57)
1132870 2010-08-30 03:23:00 Why not just adjust the screens to suit - Trouble is some people expect to simply plug in a monitor and it looks perfect.

Mines got the monitor adjusted slightly, then dive into the graphic card settings and fine tune.

1132871 2010-08-30 03:39:00 ah. not sure if it's a trick of the light/flash or whatever, but the left one seems to have a white line running up it in the bottom left corner next to the mozilla button on the taskbar.

Is that what you're looking for?
