| 853179 | 2010-01-29 05:53:00 | just watching the news, both victims families were pleased with the sentence, well as pleased as one could be in this situation. I think this is the first time I have heard this | plod (107) | ||
| 853180 | 2010-01-29 10:46:00 | Really? cos on one news the mother of one of the victims said it was just another case of the justice system not working etc. | beeswax34 (63) | ||
| 853181 | 2010-01-29 11:09:00 | He should have got 23 years for each murder. Seems in NZ you can murder one person and get 20 years or give it death with a nice rifle and bowl over heaps of people in a massacre and still get 20 years does not seem right to me. Judges dont really give a stuff about what the victims family think. But wait there is more, the guy up North who waxed a number of unregistered hounds some of which killed his pet will get done like a hot dinner when the feds charge him. |

Feds? :illogical Let's leave this to the local police force who are more than capable of dealing with (and to) the offender/s. NZ is a sovereign state, and doesn't have (or need) the bulls*** often associated with a commonwealth or union police force. (I know what you mean though, and I endorse your sentiments). |
