1134077 2010-09-02 09:57:00 I just tried to install a 500gb to replace the 80gb that was on there. Made a back up to external drive.

Fired up the PS3 and had this error message =

The system software cannot be run correctly. Press the PS button to try to restart the system.
If the system cannot be restarted. the system partition of the hard disk must be reformatted and you must reinstall the system software.
Connect storage media that contains update data of version 3.41 or later. and then press the START and SELECT buttons at the same time.
For information on how to obtain data. refer to the SCE Web site for your region.

I'm downloading the 3.41 update which has to go on a usb drive.

Anyone had this problem and how to resolve it?
