| 856470 | 2010-02-09 01:27:00 | It's easy - a clean install took me about 10 minutes flat on a clean drive on my Asus. Whereas when I tried an upgrade on a month-old Toshiba, I tried 4 times before I realised I could do a clean install from the upgrade disk. Then took about 20 minutes to run through it (IIRC)... Just back up your data onto another partition, and accept that you will have to reinstall your apps. Piece of cake. |
