Yep. he bought it from Amazon.com and had it shipped over. $399 USD and $200 USD for shipping. His sister paid for the shipping for his birthday.

855911 2010-02-08 16:34:00 I just got that Ibanez bass with the Acoustic B450 amp, and I took a few shots of the other noise makers I have now .

I'm moving toward playing bass exclusively since I find as I age, my fingering/chording accuracy isn't what it used to be - a few motorcycle accidents and my general malaise are to blame .

Possibly some of the active ingredients in my PRESCRIPTION meds are also to blame!
I recently got that Fender Strat Squire and a Fender Ultimate Chorus amp for cheap, but I am not really all that jazzed over them - well, maybe the amp is nice, but like I said I don't really use the 6-strings much any more . Maybe I'll just keep them for people who want to play them when we gig or locally jam a little . It's nice to have loaners for those kinds of people .

What I play is a little more traditional - not that Mr . Black isn't good (I recognize talent when I see it, even though his music isn't my cuppa) and I like the SRV Roadhouse Blues and groups like the Doobies . Surf-Shred is another favorite and lots of reverb, loop and delay is what it's all about!

On the bass, I just got a Boss LMB3 compressor/limiter and that's a big improvement . I levels-out the notes and keeps one or two from booming too much . I find that the Fender P-bass needs it most as the Ibanez has active pups and equalizers built in .

I don't play fenders either, but you have a nice little collection there and a few amps to boot!
