855058 2010-02-03 23:20:00 Wow. It's amazing what can happen when one gets bored on their days off.

I've just turned my HP nc6220 (Centrino1.7, 2GB RAM, 320GB HD, Intel Graphics) into a Hackintosh running 10.5.8 (No I didn't download it, I bought 10.5 retail off trademe)

Considering I had Windows 7 on here before, this is a significant improvement.:banana It's faster, it's surprisingly useable, and I feel right at home with the dock since I started pinning apps onto Windows 7's taskbar.

I was quite surprised at how easy it was to install (Boot-132) and how it picked up almost all of my devices as well ( Only had to install Wireless LAN and Display kexts)

All in all, go leopard!

855060 2010-02-03 23:37:00 It comes as no surprise to us OS X users that you find it fast and usable, you will also find it very reliable as well. Well done. Safari (3993)

I wonder what they would say if I got a job at apple and turned up on my first day with it?

855062 2010-02-04 00:02:00 Can't imagine they'd be rapt.
Very strict I would think.
(not that I would know)

Good effort though:clap

I considered trying something
similar when I was doing
a Diploma in Digital Film.
The course was extremely
Apple-centric (Final Cut etc)

Managed to wobble my way through
with Vista and Adobe Production premium CS4.

855063 2010-02-04 05:32:00 All in all, go leopard! All in all, Leopard ain't as big or strong as a lion or tiger, and it ain't as fast as a cheetah.

If you're so rapt with a Mac o/s then why not go to the Mac fanboys forums and sprout about it there.

If you don't like this topic, then why don't you ignore it or at least restrain yourself from replying?

too right, never mind Greg. He is still bitter about his failed relationships.I suppose when you have that many that fail you have to start picking on things to make yourself feel better

Please . I whipped out to Noel Leeming a few hours ago and bought iLife09 and iWork09 . Decided I would do the entire mac leap and ditch office . I had a good play with Keynote and it squashes powerpoint . Even the word squashes isn't good enough to describe it . Is Mac firefox better than safari? Have installed MacTheRipper, VLC, Mojo, Audim, Mactubes and Boxee .

Is there any other good freeware around? Cheers Plod .
