I've never actually seen a wired remote (let alone a wired Teletext remote) except on some steam-driven AWA/Thorn CTVs, way back in the days when Jesus only had a party line and everybody could listen in to your conversations. Come to think of it, the left-footers still have a party line, so that the man in the little room can get his vicarious thrills. Cheers Billy 8-{) :rolleyes: In fact, I think it was a Baird. I was in the UK in the early 80's and that's what we could hire from the local hire place. So you're right about the steam-driven part. At the time we thought the remote was the bees knees! Damn hard to lose the remote too! |
